We headed over to Pacific Palisades this week for a private greeting gig that required a specific balance of “high-end spectacle” and “family-friendly.” Since the guest list included a lot of kids, the client wanted the iconic showgirl silhouette but with a more modest, approachable wardrobe.
To hit that mark, we paired our gold sequin and fringe costumes with our signature white ostrich feather headdresses and matching fans. The result was a bright, classic aesthetic that felt elevated and polished for a sunny afternoon on the coast.
Our duo spent a few hours greeting guests as they arrived, providing that immediate “event” feel and a high-texture backdrop for photos. It’s a great example of how we can pivot our wardrobe to fit the demographic of a party without losing the theatrical impact. Sometimes, a strategic swap of accessories is all it takes to make a classic act work for any room.
